peel, core, and slice 8-10 Granny Smith apples combine 2 sticks softened butter or margarine w/ 2 c. flour and 3 tbsp sugar spread into jelly roll pan place sliced apples on dough COMBINE 1 c sugar + 2 tsp cinnamon pour over apples BAKE @ 375° for 30 minutes take out, cover w/ foil bake additional 15 minutes COOK 2 large or 3 sm. pkgs. vanila pudding (NOT instant) w/ 5 cups milk COOK SLOW until done pour over apples cover w/ foil - let cool REFRIGERATE overnight top with Cool Whip to serve
